Meet Our Staff


OUR ADMINISTRATION

Blessed Beginnings is a non profit preschool licensed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, complying with all regulations set by the Department of Early Education and Care. Our director oversees the program with the support of an advisory committee. The advisory committee members are parents, grandparents, educators, advocates of young children and members of Christ The King Lutheran Church.

OUR STAFF

The Blessed Beginnings staff are DEEC certified, experienced and dedicated teachers. They are devoted to providing for your child a "blessed beginning" as they start their journey in education.


Gerry Hava - Director/Teacher

Picture of Gerry Hava Gerry has a Bachelor's Degree majoring in Elementary Education and a minor in English. She taught first grade in New Jersey; then she and her husband relocated to Massachusetts where Gerry taught at Sunshine Preschool in Hopkinton for 13 years and then worked as director at United Parish Christian Nursery School in Upton for 8 years. When the congregation of Christ the King Lutheran Church expanded the building, Gerry helped in forming Blessed Beginnings preschool. She eventually applied for the director/teacher’s position and the rest is history! In her spare time, Gerry enjoys family time, baking and when time permits, working on crafts with friends.


Lynne Conroy - Teacher

Picture of Lynne ConroyLynne has a Bachelor’s Degree majoring in Clothing and Textiles with a minor in Education. In her past, she has worked as a teacher’s aide in Title I, as a substitute teacher at the elementary level, and was a teacher’s assistant in Kindergarten classes. She is married and has two daughters who are 17 and almost 21. In her spare time, Lynne loves to sew, do crafts, travel and spend time with her family.


Brenda Arena - Teacher

Picture of Brenda Arena Brenda has an Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education and a Bachelor’s Degree majoring in Young Children with Special Needs. She has had the opportunity to work in a variety of setting since 1986. She enjoys working with young children. Brenda and her husband have two boys ages six and nine. She enjoys visiting her family scattered all over the United States. Going to the beach is one of Brenda’s favorite family activities.
