Meet Our Staff


OUR ADMINISTRATION

Blessed Beginnings is a non profit preschool licensed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, complying with all regulations set by the Department of Early Education and Care. Our director oversees the program with the support of an advisory committee. The advisory committee members are parents, grandparents, educators, advocates of young children and members of Christ The King Lutheran Church.

OUR STAFF

The Blessed Beginnings staff are DEEC certified, experienced and dedicated teachers. They are devoted to providing for your child a "blessed beginning" as they start their journey in education.


Gerry Hava - Director/Teacher

Picture of Gerry HavaGerry is a college graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and a minor in English. She taught first grade in New Jersey; then she, her husband and three sons relocated to Massachusetts where Gerry resumed her teaching career once her sons were in school. She was part of the teaching staff at Sunshine Preschool in Hopkinton for 13 years before becoming the Director at United Parish Christian Nursery School in Upton for 8 years. When the congregation of Christ the King Lutheran Church expanded the building, Gerry helped in forming Blessed Beginnings Preschool. She eventually applied for the director/teacher position and the rest is history! Gerry enjoys family time, baking and when time permits, working on crafts with friends.


Lynne Conroy - Teacher

Picture of Lynne ConroyLynne is a graduate of Framingham State College. She earned a degree in Clothing and Textiles and Education. In her past, she has worked as a teacher’s aide, as a substitute teacher at the elementary level, and was a teacher’s assistant in Kindergarten classes. She is married and has two daughters who are young adults. Lynne has been part of the staff at Blessed Beginnings since it opened in 2003. In her spare time, Lynne loves to sew, do crafts, and spend time with her family.


Danielle Howland - Teacher

Picture of Brenda ArenaDanielle has an Associates Degree from Dean College in Early Childhood Education. She has worked at the North Shore Special Education Consortium as a paraprofessional and more recently as a lead teacher at Magic Years preschool in Ashland. She is married and has three children in the Holliston Public Schools. Danielle is an avid photographer, enjoys travel, reading and gardening.
